Assist providers with patient triage, assess patients, chart medical complaint & history, perform routine in office patient procedures and assist with in office procedures. Perform all necessary aspects of patient care, and necessary post-operative paperwork while keeping the patient the primary focus.
Responsible for direction of patient care in the ambulatory care setting. Manages staff members in the surgery center. Consults with staff, physicians and ASC Director on nursing problems and interpretation of facility policies to ensure patient needs are met. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities.
The Insurance Follow-up Representative position is responsible for all insurance follow-up on assigned accounts from the leadership team. The core responsibilities of an insurance follow-up representative include research, insurance billing and adjustment identification to ensure proper account resolution.
